Quality Care & Feeding
Mountain Mead Trees are consistently weeded, fertilized, pruned, and maintained with care throughout the year. The soil is fertilized and conditioned with lime to achieve the optimal pH for healthy growth, and trees are sprayed with an exclusive blend of Compost Tea from Gardeners' Supply, which keeps them free of disease and produces a lush, deep green color.
Shaping
Shaping is critical throughout each tree's growth, to ensure proper proportion and fullness. We personally shape each Mountain Mead Tree throughout its growth cycle, ensuring strong branches, a straight leader and attractive fullness.
Harvesting
To preserve freshness, Dave and his team begin harvesting Mountain Mead Trees during the last week of November. They personally select, cut and package your tree, assuring you of absolute freshness and top quality.
Once harvested, trees are immediately transported for retail sale at Gardener's Supply, where they are individually displayed for your selection.
Mountain Mead Balsam Fir trees are also available via convenient direct order shipment directly to your home or office.
